Anne's Value Curriculum

Anne's Value Curriculum

Inspired by the vision of Anne de Xainctonge, founder of the Sisters of St. Ursula, Notre Dame's Anne's Values Curriculum, founded in 2006, is a student-led formation program that brings our mission and values to life. Rooted in principles of Catholic Identity and Ignatian Spirituality, the curriculum fosters leadership, belonging, and meaningful relationships throughout the Notre Dame sisterhood.

Every student participates in a monthly Anne's Values gathering, where freshmen are paired with junior "big sisters" and sophomores with senior “sisters”. Led by Junior & Senior Anne's Leaders, these small groups provide a welcoming space for conversation and reflection while strengthening the bonds that make Notre Dame, Chez Nous. Anne's Values is a tradition that strengthens school spirit, empowers compassionate leaders, and ensures that every student experiences faith, friendship, and community.

Each month focuses on one of the school's twelve core values—Conversatio, Courage, Friendship, Gratitude, Hope, Magis, Perseverance, Prayer, Respect, Responsibility, Service, and Trust. Through engaging activities, thoughtful discussion, and collaborative service opportunities, students explore how these values shape their daily lives at school, at home, and beyond.
