In keeping with our mission of celebrating and educating each student as a whole person, Notre Dame Admissions is enhancing our admissions process to more thoroughly integrate Cura Personalis. In addition to academic excellence, we believe that our students’ talents, personalities, and desires are all equally worthy of consideration.

Admissions Process for All Applicants:

Notre Dame Online Application
- Every applicant must apply directly to ND through our online application. You must create a Parent Portal and then follow the steps outlined in your admissions checklist.
- Application Start Date for Class of 2029 - Monday, September 9, 2024.
- Application Deadline for Class of 2029 - Monday, December 2, 2024.
  - Schools have until December 10, 2024 to submit transcripts and/or TACHS applicant records.

Entrance Examination
- Notre Dame’s primary entrance exam is TACHS - The TACHS will be administered online for the Archdiocese of New York on Friday, November 8, 2024, and for the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens and the Diocese of Rockville Centre (Long Island) on Saturday, November 9, 2024.
- Registration for the TACHS should be completed online through the TACHS website. TACHS registration runs from August 26 – November 9, 2024. Notre Dame’s TACHS code is 209.
- Students may list Notre Dame as their first, second or third choice on the TACHS for admissions purposes.

- For Students Planning on Taking HSPT/SSAT/ISEE - We understand that each exam releases their results on different timelines. It is imperative that you or your daughter's current school forward your respective exam results to Notre Dame as soon as they become available.
  - For New Jersey Applicants - In order to make sure that we receive all the relevant information for admissions in a timely manner, we encourage our New Jersey applicants to consider taking New York’s online Test for Admission to Catholic High Schools (TACHS). You may schedule to take the test either Friday, November 8 or Saturday, November 9.

Transcripts
- Please request that your student’s current school submit report cards and/or the TACHS Applicant Record Form directly to Notre Dame electronically via your Parent Portal. Schools must submit grades for 6th grade, 7th grade, and 1st quarter of 8th grade.
- All academic transcripts must be received no later than Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

  - While not required, we strongly encourage all applicants to submit this item. All criteria for this item are listed in your Parent Portal.

  - While not required, we strongly encourage all applicants to submit this item. All criteria for this item are listed in your Parent Portal.
- IEP/504 Documentation - if applicable
  - Notre Dame School offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that does not allow for modifications to the academic curriculum for individual students, other than the possibility of 50% extended time and priority seating. We do not have a specialized learning staff or individual education program services.
  - If applicants or families have any questions regarding accommodations, we encourage you to speak with a member of the counseling team prior to applying. Contact ND Counseling Office

Scholarship Consideration Information:

All students are evaluated for scholarship consideration based on their academic records, entrance exam scores, and supplemental documents. If you take the TACHS and wish to be considered for scholarship, we do ask to be listed as either your first or second choice.
