Notre Dame considers current high school students for transfer admissions on a rolling, case-by-case basis.
We generally do not accept 12th grade transfers.
If you have questions about a mid-year transfer, please contact Admissions directly at email@example.com
Transfer Admissions Criteria
A typical transfer student will have a 90 average or above with no grade lower than a “B” and a demonstrated commitment to co-curricular programs and to Notre Dame’s mission.
All transfer students will submit the required academic paperwork (depending on grade level) as well as standardized test scores and at least one recommendation letter.
Transfer Admissions Process
To apply for transfer admission, please complete all of the following steps:
Step 1: Online Application
Step 2: Transcripts & Standardized Test Scores
Step 3: Recommendation Letter
Step 4: Admissions Interview
Admission Process and Decisions
Once we have reviewed a transfer application, we will inform you whether your daughter will proceed to the next step, which includes an interview with our Admissions Director. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis based on the applicant’s online application, academic transcript, teacher recommendation, standardized test scores, interview, and available space.
Financial Aid Policy for Transfer Students
Notre Dame does not offer any merit scholarships to transfer applicants nor will it consider transfer students for need-based financial aid for the first year of enrollment. Parents/guardians are responsible for the full tuition cost. A $1,000 nonrefundable deposit is due as part of the registration process.
