Dr. Erik Meddles

Erik Meddles received a B.A. in History and French from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 2010, an M.A. in French Studies from New York University in 2011, and a Ph.D. in History and French Studies from NYU in 2019. His research focuses on comparative imperial history in Southeast Asia between France and the U.S. He has taught numerous courses at Baruch College, NYU, and Empire State College in World, US, and European history. Erik is an avid tabletop gaming enthusiast and incorporates gaming scenarios to engage students in history.
