Apply To Notre Dame

Admission to Notre Dame is based on performance on the TACHS (Test for Admissions into Catholic High Schools) and on the basis of prior school records. Notre Dame's TACHS code is 209.

Students may list Notre Dame as their first, second, or third choice on the TACHS. Scholarship consideration is likewise given to students who list Notre Dame as first, second or third choice, with a preference for first and second choices.

NJ residents:You may take the COOP exam in place of the TACHS exam and the same instructions apply. In addition,  NJ residents should request that their schools send their applicant records to Notre Dame and Notre Dame will request their COOP scores.

For students taking the TACHS or the COOP exams, there is no separate application form required.
